Williams by Bachmann / Holiday Affair Train Set
December 26, 2012, 10:34:42 PM
Has Bachmann ever thought about or looked into reproducing the Red Rocket Express train set from A Holiday Affair? It Seems to be nothing more than a set of relettered Santa Fe F3s and 4 or 5 tuscan Madison cars lettered Red Rocket Express. I do know that Gordon Gebert who played Timmy Ennis in the movie is still alive and I found out after a recent conversation with him that no train manufacturer has ever approached him about studying the set for such a possible venture. I do know that there is a large number of model railroaders out there that would be interested in such a set and they feel that Bachmann would possibly make the most affordable of the available train manufacturers.

Plasticville U.S.A. / New old Plasticville
March 15, 2009, 12:05:02 AM
Are the current issues of Plasticville O/S using the old molds? If so how about coming out with some of the harder ones to find like the Cattle Pens, Grandstand and its associated brethren or the Storybook structures or have the molds seen better days?
as a side note, anyone know why the HO coaling tower and the O tower differ so much? I like the looks of the HO one better.
