Ok am not shirr what to do for now am going to get just a sound box like the MRC 77 or something like that .I never made a decorder set up yet I saw a few on you tube am ok whit the use a volt meter I can solder to. It  looks like it almos  cheaper to get a train whit sound decoder in it.I will get back to you and thanks for the help an info .

Well all of them loco mean nothing to me so id like to do some add sound to them.Which one of the loco I have will be the easy one to do.Am what decoder will I need am going to go whit better brand am shirr that MRC are good for what id like .

So do you think that any of this locos can be added a sound decoder to work just with dc and a sound controller.

Thanks guy I have over 10 locos am shure that one of them can be a easy convert , I am learning and love to play whit this and just trying to get some sound whit the track whit out going full dcc.But it looks like it not that easy .

Am still new at this so am learning as I go ,So id need something like this MRC 1716 PREFERRED SOUND HO DECODER: 16-BIT UNIVERSAL EMD 567 right thanks for the info

Thanks for the reply I have a few old loco the one whit the flat motor in the back there is lot of room in them. It look like there is only 2 wire to connect on them .CVs what that am new at this what will I need to change them.

Was looking at this MRC HO 1909 16-Bit Diesel Sounder, like to no if it will work in any if the Bachmann dc loco Am just running dc no dcc .Will this work whit a ez comander

Well after seaching i found this anyone try it yet HO  SOUND W/WIRELESS CONTROLLER MRC1007 it look like it can be used whit just the dc lolco .

Well am looling at HO SCALE NEW IN BOX BACHMANN DIGITAL COMMANDER TRAIN SET it has 2 dcc loco like to no does the loco have sound i them or you have to add a sound board.I see the control can control the sound.
