General Discussion / Dynamis doesn't like Atlas?
November 04, 2010, 11:59:09 AM
I recently acquired a Dynamis and I just love it.  The only thing that is driving me Batpoopoo is it appears to not work many of the functions for my Atlas Gold series locos.  The startup and shutdown functions; audio mute etc. either won't operate or take 10-20 seconds to do anything.  I called Atlas and they say they have had no problems testing their locos with the Dynamis controller.  I REALLY like it and want to keep it but I also want to be able to use all of the functions on my expensive locos! Any advice or has anyone ever heard of this??

General Discussion / Re: DCC Dynamis

I recently "stole" one on ebay and I love it.  I really like the interface its a real snap to use.  I am having some weird issues with my Atlas Gold series locos though it doesn't seem to operate all of the Atlas functions.  I had access to an MRC prodigy express to A/B it and the MRC could work it without difficulty.  Anyone hear of this before??

Bachmann does make it, here it is:

10' Red Terminal Extension Wire
Product Information: 1/card
Price: $8.50
Product Code: 44498

Thanks but I already bought that and it has the male connectors on one end.  I have looked at Radio Shack but didn't see any connectors small enough to work.  I will try Autozone.

General Discussion / Need Electrical connection help
October 31, 2010, 07:19:28 PM
I have secured enough EZ Trak for my layout to do 2 ovals.  I have two terminal rerailers but I need a connector that is female on both ends to connect the two.  Does Bachmann make this or do they sell the little flat two slotted connectors??

Where can I find this information?

I just got my first set (Chatanooga set from Hobby Lobby) and want to expand but I want to expand correctly and historically.  How do you identify which cars and rolling stock would be time appropriate for that steam locomotive??  Specifically from the Bachman line.
