I would definitely clean the rollers, wheels and track first. I have occassionally encountered this same thing, especially when conditions were dirty. A good cleaning all around solved it.

Hi dlewisk

I recently purchased a WBB F3 with the same problem...I returned mine to my LHS and they gave me a new one....since this is brand new and under warranty, I would suggest you do the same.

I have a large assortment of Williams and WBB Locos, and this is the first one I have ever had a problem with.

The mikado has been officially cancelled by WBB. There was  a post from them about this a while back. I don't think Trainworld updated their site.

Williams by Bachmann / Re: Williams Station Sounds

If I remember correctly, Station Sounds was a plug in sound board that was made by OTT, the same company that was making the True Sounds boards for Williams. Not sure if they are still in business, as I think this goes back to the mid 90s.

Williams by Bachmann / 4-6-0 Ten Wheeler
November 22, 2011, 04:20:28 PM
I was at a train show this past weekend and saw the 4-6-0 Ten Wheeler in Santa Fe and UP. They looked great and I am considering purchasing one. Has anyone got one of these yet and any reviews or comments?

Thanks.

Mike:

I'm sorry but I do not have a digital camera. If you search on the web for KCS you will find many pictures of KCS Southern Belles. The WBB engine is almost a perfect match to the prototype in my opinion.

Just picked up my KCS SD90. Absolutely stunning. Paint, fit , finish , even the tiny printing on the sides and frame is flawless. TB2 horn and bell is louder on this engine than some others I have. And ran perfectly right out of the box. Great Job WBB.

I am new to this forum and just wanted to say hello. I own a variety of Williams and WBB Diesels and I must say I love every one of them. No problems whatsoever and when my 3 year old grandson comes to visit, they run almost non stop for 3 hours at a time.

Looking forward to getting the KCS SD90 and NS Executive units..
