I recently brought a Springfield station that has a pressure switch to activate the man on a forklift. Can it be adapted to work on EZ Track?

Being real new to the hobby, I just brought the Bachmann Springfield station with the sliding forklift. I came with a pressure sensitive switch to activate the worker. Is there a way to modify it to work on the Bachmann ez track??
