I need some wheels for the amtrak amfleet passenger cars. I can't find any in the parts and service info area on this site. I don't care who the manufacturer is. Also what is the size (real world) of these wheels? Thanks

I am looking for decals for an FP45 Amtrak engine with a large red and blue arrow like the one on the page link with the work Amtrak before it. I have searched everywhere but cannot find one.

I am trying to put a dcc decoder from another 44 Ton onto  a non dcc 44 ton. There are only 4 wires on the non dcc loco. These wires go to the motors. Where are the wires for the pickup, or how does the loco pickup from the track.

I have 2 diesels with decoders. One has sound the other does not. How do I match the speeds so they run good together. I will be using Sprog 2 to program them. Thanks

What is the wheel arrangements for light, medium and heavy steam.

I just received my Bachmann B&M RS3 with sound. I am really impressed with the sound and how it runs. The price is also very good. I have other switchers with sound that cost a lot more but I would say the Bachmann is equal to them.

I installed 2 different decoders in the Acela. The first one was an NCE D14SR, the second one was a TCS MC2P-SH. They both will run for approximately 5 or ten minutes then they stop. Do I have to cut what look like resistors that are on the board. The board has a date on it 08/04/01. The decoders do not feel hot when the train stops. Thanks

When I run my Acela I hear a noise that can be described as brakes sqeeling. Anyone no what is is. It only comes from the passenger cars. The cars roll freely. Is it possible that it comes from the pickups that rub against the wheels?

Does Bachman or anyone else sell knuckle couplers for the Acela train set.

I bought a Bachman Acela about five years ago and want to put in a decoder. Is the Acela DCC ready? If so is there a plug to plug in a decoder or does it have to be hardwired?

I changed the address on my 44 ton to the engine number but it won't run and the headlight does not come on. I tired a reset (cv8 to but no luck. It does run in DC mode. I use a gigitrax system. Any help would be appreciated. This is a Bachmann engine.

I bought a  used Rivarossi 4-6-4. After running it for about an hour the motor burnt out so I am looking for a new one. I have emailed several places for a replacement and they said they don't have them. I have checked the parts section of this board and found three that could fit. The model numbers of the motors are 2-6-0 Model #565x-3875, 2-6-2 Model #515x-3875 and 2-8-0 Model #H11405. The size of the original motor was 33mm long, 20mm wide and 15mm high. Does anyone have one of these Locos with those motors and do they come close to the size I have listed. Thank you

Is there a sound decoder I can put in the Acela?

I want to isolate a siding. I am using DCC. Do I have to gap both rails or can I just gap one?

My dynamis loses the signal when it is more than 5 feet from the command station. The batteries are new energizer batteries. The track and the wheels of the engines are clean. Is this how it works, only 5 feet from the command station. Please help

I have programmed two Bachmann diesels with the dynamis. The arrow indicating the direction on the dynamis points to the left, but the engine goes to the right. How can I change this so that the engine direction is the same as the arrow on the dynamis controller.

I have programmmed a few Proto 2k switchers and a few BLI switchers, but when I try to program the Proto e6's they do not respond. The light will go on and off twice after I hit prgram but it does not move slightly like the other ones do when you hit program on the Dynamis. Is there something I am doing wrong? I have successfully programmed an E8 Proto, but no luck with the E6's. Anyone have any ideas what is wrong. Thanks
