Have been musing about doing an On30 layout using Peco On30 track and turnouts instead of ME track and turnouts, although I have lots of ME turnouts and track. Turnouts with Peco seem a little more user friendly. Any thoughts on my musings ? Anyone else gone this route ?

Have not seen anything on this forum regarding structures from GC Laser. Any recommendations, comments on their products ? Always good to hear from someone who has built these structures before. Appreciate your feedback.

Probably asked many times before in this forum. Will bring the topic up again. What if any are effective ways to remove the factory lettering that is applied to Bachmann rolling stock ? Interested in all replies including those from the Bach Man !

Does anyone have any back ground information of the origin and use of the 18 foot railway car and what type of car was used and for how long. Much appreciated.I don't believe this was an invention by Bachmann to entertains us who live in the world of On30. Know that British cars or goods wagons as they are called were shorter than our North American types. Have not seen any information regarding this on any forum to date.

To the Bach Man. I have a Bachmann passenger car in kit form so to speak in that all the parts are there in a disassembled state. It had no trucks . I purchased a set of your die cast passenger trucks ( Item # 29902 ) and want to install them to the bottom of the car, but I can't find any instructions anywhere on the package or your web site. Some hints would be very helpful. Thank you !

Just got a new Heisler. Works well. Do have a problem though in that the locomotive has a pronounced lean to the right. It does not sit in a balanced position, but has a definite lean to the right. Any suggestions as to why this is happening and any suggestions as how to correct the problem would be appreciated. Thanks

Wondering what size of speaker you would use for the Bachmann On30 Outside frame locomotive and also what size of speaker you would use for the Bachmann On30 Inside frame locative as well. I believe the correct Sountrax sound decoder is TSU-1000 Light Steam version( Decoder part #826101). Thanks

To the folks in Bachmann's service department. I would like to thank you on behalf of all those you kindly sent replacement gears to. It is so easy to post a rant or complaint  here on this forum. Life is a two way street and we are all in this world of On30 together. When something positive or good happens, we should post that too. Good news is always that.....Good. Always nice to hear also.

Has anyone installed the Banta Model flat car kit on any of your Bachmann On30 flat cars ? How realistic is it's appearance and would you recommend it ? Thanks

What type of E-Z Mate couplers are found on Bachamnn rolling stock ? I ask as there are several varieties out there on the market. Size etc. Thanks

Has anyone noticed any difference between a regular DCC Porter and a DCC Porter with sound passing through an insulated frog turnout ? I have found the regular DCC version to sail through the turnout while the version with sound will hesitate and then proceed . Running in very slow speeds the sound version will stop on the turnout. Coincidence or a fluke or what. Your thoughts.

Would be very interested on hearing if anyone has attempted this and how you did it. Were the efforts a success ? Thanks Michael

Hi..New post...Is there a manual one can obtain for the Bachmann series of 4-4-0m steam locomotives ?

Dear Bach-Man and everyone else out there........Just received a Bachmann 28322 4-4-0 outside frame steam locomotive and cannot get it to operate in either direction. Light does not come on either. Nice gift but no response when I put power to it. Am testing on a DC test track. Other Bachmann DCC locomotives work well on same test track. Do I have a dud or am I missing something here ?
