On30 / Bachmann 29901 ON30 Archbar trucks
May 24, 2013, 11:07:34 AM
Mr. Bachmann
When are we going to see the 29901 ON30 archbar trucks available again?
These are a very popular item and makes a person wonder why Bachmann
doesn't make an effort to keep them in stock.

Could you tell me the color (name) of the lighter metalic looking paint on the front boiler area of many of Bachmann's black boiler locomotives?
Also is this paint available from Bachmann?
Thanks much.

At present I have built 10 Penn Green and 6 Tuscan Red in HO scale.
5 Penn Green and 5 Tuscan Red in N scale.

Copy of drawings by J. Harold Geissel from 60's copy of Model Railroader

HO scale Ma & Pa Baggage cars in process of being built, less truss rods, end rails, etc and decals.
I will post new photo's when completed.

Could some one explain to me how to post photo's on this site?
Each time I try posting a photo, I receive the following:

"The upload folder is full. Please try a smaller file and/or contact an administrator. "

N / Replacing Bachmann Spectrum 2-8-0 headlight
October 02, 2007, 06:30:51 PM
I am considering removing the headlight from a N gauge Spectrum 2-8-0, which is mounted on center of smoke box, and replacing it with a Pennsylvania Railroad light to be mounted at top of smoke box front.
Anyone's experience with such modification, would be appreciated.

N / N gauge detail parts
September 16, 2007, 08:21:44 PM
Anyone know a source for N gauge detail parts?
I have been in model railroading for over 60 years.
Have been scratch building HO and TT in brass for several years.
Am considering trying scratch building in N gauge brass if enough detailing parts are available.
