General Discussion / Turntable plug needed
August 09, 2014, 08:25:40 PM
I am looking for the wire to the HO Scale Motorized Turntable.  In particular, I am looking for the wire that connects from the direction switch to the turntable itself.  I've called Bachmann's replacement parts line, but every time I called, there was nobody there, and nobody responded to my messages.  The Reverse Loop module looks like it comes with the wire I need, will it work?  The 10' red power extension wire won't help, will it?

HO / HO roundhouse

I really like the idea of the Tidmouth Turntable!  I hope to get it when I can, as I can really use it, not necessarily for the Thomas engines.

So what I'm asking is for a US steam railroad style turntable and sheds for EZ track!

HO / Old West sets
January 03, 2010, 03:08:10 PM
I probably brought this up before, but I'd like to point out that the Jupiter and 119 in the Old Time Village Freight and Express sets are still in their pre-1995 liveries.  Bachmann, if you guys intend to continue issuing these sets, could you please give the engines their updated liveries(and make all cars in the freight set Central Pacific while you're at it)?  You've updated the sets' N scale counterparts, so why not?

HO / Old timer sets
July 13, 2007, 07:40:18 PM
I always loved 4-4-0 steam locos, old and new.  I kinda don't like the rather basic Old Time Village Freight set.  I think Bachmann should retire that set and resurrect the "Great Iron Horse Train Robbery" set they once had.  It should have all of the same pack-ins that set had, including the cowboy figures, baseplate thing, storybook, action cars, etc.
It would only have these differences:
-Maybe a cool new box, styled similar to that of the newer Old Time Village Freight ones
-The Jupiter would wear its updated red and blue livery
-It would have an oval of Nickel Silver EZ track(and accessories be modified to better acomidate that track as necessary) with their new little power pack

So please consider this, Bachmann.  If not, could you please at least update the Old Time Village Freight and Express sets so they have Nickel Silver EZ track and the Jupiter and 119 wear their updated liveries?  Also, on the Freight set, have all included freight cars be the Central Pacfic ones.  Just like the updates done to the N scale equivalent sets.  Thanks, Bachmann.

General Discussion / Track Ideas
July 13, 2007, 07:15:39 PM
There are a few track ideas I'd like Bachmann to consider, so I'll list them here.  So here we go:
-How about turntables in HO and N, so we can make roundhouses and store trains easier?  They, of course, shoould be EZ track compatible.
-I would like versions of the HO scale switches to be power-routing.  The N scale ones are, so why shouldn't the HO scale ones be?  It would be more convenient for storing trains on sidings while still having one run on the main line.
-How about updated crossing gates with flashing LED lights that are activated by motion sensors.

There are some ideas for you, Bachmann.  Thanks.
