what is this? i use dc, i have a very small layout, iam about to buy an atlas gp 40. will this work on dc? what will this do when I go into dcc in a few years? My LHS is more of a craft store so the guy doesnt know anything about it.

My suggestion is that classifying by "Scales" is limiting, where as it would be more flexible to classify as "Interests"

HO / 5 pole can motor? what is it?

all my locos have a "5 pole can motor" what are the poles? where are they, what is the armature? why is the 5 pole better than the 3 pole can motor?
and why are fly wheels nessisarily? spelled it wrong, but dont know how to!!
