HO / 40 Foot Boxcars
March 25, 2021, 07:57:11 PM
Hi All,

I was just curious if anyone might know the type of box car that was used as a basis for the current Bachmann 40 foot box car.  Was it a PS-1, AAR or another type?

HO / EMD FT Locomotives
August 23, 2020, 01:59:51 PM
Hi All,

Does anyone know if Bachmann is planning to do another run of their EMD FT diesel locomotives?  I could have sworn that I received a e-mail that they were but I don't see them listed on the Bachmann web store.  I am very interested in buying a NYC one.

Any information would be appreciated.

Hi Bachmann,

I am very interested in the announced C&O 40 foot Box Car (13098).  Any idea when it might be available?  I really want to add one to my collection as I am a C&O fan.

Thanks!

HO / Alco S4
February 17, 2019, 07:59:28 AM
I just wanted to thank Bachmann for offering the Alco S4.  I just purchased my third one yesterday.  I have a very small layout (6 x 4) and the S4 looks perfect on it!  The locomotive runs quiet and smooth.  Thanks again Bachmann!

HO / HO Scale Porter 0-6-0 Side Tank Locomotive
October 21, 2018, 06:51:42 PM
Hi All,

I have recently seen a very good price for the Porter 0-6-0 Side Tank Locomotive.  I am a straight DC railroader and I understand that the locomotive is DCC.  I have Bachmann GP-7, GP-9 and RS-3 that are DCC which I have no problem running on my layout.  My question is will the Porter 0-6-0 run on straight DC?  If is does run on DC, what are the running characteristics?  I currently have a Mantua 0-6-0 which I am happy with (I am not super detailed orientated).  Any advise will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

HO / Bachmann Alco S4

I am just curious, will the upcoming Bachmann S4 have number boards with the locomotive number on them?  I am really considering purchasing one of the S4s when they are released.  I noticed that the Alco FA2s just released do not have the number boards with the locomotice numbers on them.
