What is the smallest gauge wire one should use when doing battery conversions on Spectrum Locomotives?

I have recently purchased a Bmann Forney locomotive and would like to convert the engine to remote control, battery power & install a phoenix Sound board.  My question to anybody who has done such work is, "where did you put everything?"  The R/C unit will probably go  in the P-N-P board and the speaker under the Loco's main board, but where did you put the battery & Sboard?  I have ideas, but would like to hear other ideas.  There is no use trying to reinvent the wheel.

The  Heisler's power trucks contain small pc boards.  What are their purpose?

The front truck of my Heisler locomotive intermittently, and momentarily stops running.  I have removed the bottom plate of the truck and found the mechanism to be free and well greased.  Therefore, I think it might be an electrical problem.  Does anyone have any suggestions how I can trouble shoot the circuit running from the DPDT switch in the smoke box and the front motor?

I have an older style Big Hauler 4-6-0.  The sound card connects to the 9 volt battery by a brown wire and a white wire have been pulled out of their slots on the tender floor.

1. Any idea which wire (brown or white) is negative?
2. Will "magic smoke" be released if I hook up the battery with the wrong polarity?

I would like to convert a Heisler to battery power using a "Revo" ESC, "Phoenix" PCB plus a battery.  Has anyone done this conversion?  If so what battery did you use and where did you place the three components?

Have I issed something?  It was once announced that the new "Annies" would be here in November, but I o not remember seeing any anouncement that they were here.  Also, the on-line dealers do not seem to be listing them as being on line.

Are they here or when is the current ETA?

I have several  Big Hauler freight trucks w metal wheels that squeak horrendously. Does anyone have a suggestion as to lubrication or any other solution?

Does anyone know the site of the Exploded Parts Diagram for the 4-6-0?  I had a down load of it before my H-drive crashed.  I would like to get it back.
