I bought a new engine Thursday during K-10's third thurday train running session and decided to share it with you all! It's an FP7 A unit with DCC and sound by InterMountain. Could you tell me a little about the Thomas layout you made? Like, what curves go where? A diagram? I'm trying to make a copy (if you don't mind) and I need it to be portable. Any help on the matters?

How would you get DCC into a James model? Do they make a sound chip for him? Smoke?

Can I get some pictures of what couplers on the Thomas and Friends models look like? All I've seen are hooks, how do hooks connect to hooks? What am I not seeing?

I need some reviews on the Bachmann James HO scale train set, as I just ordered one off an auction site for 54$, brand new of course. This is my first Thomas set, and I plan to make a small 4' by 8' layout(like the Bach Man's ) to go with my normal layout. So, back on topic, reviews...?

This engine is the first I've had, and it's had a few problems, but they were all fixed. Now it's stuttering and stopping and won't even run. Any tips? (I don't think its the track, I have track cleaning cars running over them whenever I run a train...But, it might be.)

What was the biggest engine ever made? Is it in HO scale?

Here is a thread dedicated to all the "CHALLENGER'S" out there! Talk about the "CHALLENGER", (or the "BIG BOY") in this wonderful thread!

My Challenger was 80 bucks off and sounds wonderful! It works great! Right outa the box and I got it pullin' 59 intermodual cars at K-10's layout! It's DCC and sound.

What kind of curves are there? As in, what radius? 18",22",15", are there any others?

My zephyr has been working good since I got it, but now for some reason its messing up. When the chosen loco is running it will stop and studder and the numbers on the zephyr will blink and sometimes almost go out, and other lights will turn on and off. Is it a short circuit? What's wrong? Please help! 

I need some opinions of some good engines, or engines you all like. I'm looking to get a new engine to replace an old one. It can be steam or diesel. Post your thoughts! 

I'm going to get some pics of my layout on here soon for you all to see! It's not even close to done, I'm getting a turntable for my birthday, I have maybe 1/4 of all the track, but there are almost two loops around it already! It's comming quickly, stay tuned to see it! 

Should I get two of the same Bachmann engines, or just on Atlas engine? What would be better? The Atlas is a GP38 High Nose NS and the Bachann are.....GP38-2's I think...I'm not sure. So, any opinions?

What is the best brand for manual turnouts?

Anyone know of any train shows near St. Louis, IL?
