HO / Bachmann Grass Mat - Attaching to Layout?
November 14, 2012, 07:40:42 PM
Hello,

I have purchased this grass mat product to attach to my simple 4x8 layout train layout.  It is a temp layout just for Christmas time.  I am looking to understand the best way to attach the grass mat to my plywood.  I have read using glue, but is there any other way to do it?  Wouldn't mind finding a way that allows me to reuse it each year.  I remember as a kid, my dad use to use tacks, but with small kids and animals around, hate to see a tack get stuck in someone's foot.

Appreciate the help.

HO / Sample DCC Layout?
December 31, 2011, 01:33:37 PM
I am trying to get back into this hobby and DCC is all new to me.  I have read a number of sources and understand the fundamentals of it.  But what is not clicking with me is how you would actually have to implement all the necessary components to make it all work.  Is there a sample layout or diagram picture somewhere that shows how you would setup a DCC track, specifically using Bachmann products?  I am hoping it would show what kind of track pieces you would need, wiring, etc.  If it matters, my first layout will likely be 4x8.

Thanks!

Plasticville U.S.A. / Dimensions of Buildings
December 30, 2011, 05:29:32 PM
Hello, is there anywhere on the web site where it states the dimensions of each of the HO buildings?  As I am planning, would be good to know the sizes of them.  I could not find them on the product pages.

Thanks!

Plasticville U.S.A. / Pre-Built Versus Put Together?
December 29, 2011, 01:04:41 PM
Hello,

Quick question...the prebuilt kits, do they basically just come pre-assembled and could actually be dis-assembled if you wanted?  Or are they forever put together?  Just trying to understand the difference between the kits and pre-built.

Thanks!
