I have so far taken a Williams PA-1 B-unit ( dummy) and added Tmcc and coil couplers I also have added hand rails to where the molded ones are on the B-unit. Just wondering if any body else has done any thing to theres or similar to what I have to customize there engine/car.
Here are some befor and after pics of the B-unit with hand rails

after

down the road the trucks and the fuel tank will get painted silver to match the Lionel PA-1 engine the only reason the Williams will be not the Lionel is the Lionel fuel tank is molded to the cab and the Williams screws off so It will be easier to do than the Lionel here is a pic of the 2 together at present yes the Lionel is dark Grey with lighter Grey stripes where the Williams is the black with lighter Grey stripe paint scheme and yes NYC did both.

I got this the other day new in box still sealed in the shrink wrap from my dealer. It's supposedly according to your website and its packing list have one operating coupler and one non-operating coupler. This came with 2 non operating couplers. I sent an email to Bachmann service email address and no reply this has been about 2 weeks.

I don't know what other persons problem with them is but I have called at least 3 times and left message with return phone number and email address and have yet to get a reply and all I need is the front (or back depends how you look at it) head light lens for my GG-1 scale size by williams. I bought this new in box off bay of E and it was missing and guy couldn't help me. Also the true blast horn doesn't work but the bell does. but not worried about that as probally will put tmcc in it and sound.

I have bought a Williams by Williams GG-1 scale GG-1 Engine and I'm missing one head light lens from one end and horn/bell doesn't work but I hear a very faint buzz every so often from the engine. I'm not sure how old it is but it looks like new. in original box and shipping carton. and original paperwork including warranty card. Question is this covered under the new Williams by Bachmann and if so how much do I need to send with this engine for there service/return shipping fee?

Large / Different size engines
March 16, 2009, 04:39:12 PM
I have a 4-6-0 PA steamer and it is about 1/3 to 1/2 the size again bigger than a 2-4-2 UP #19 I have gotten Thur a eBay sale. Is this an older type engine no longer made.
In other words are all the engines made now the bigger ones or do they still make the smaller ones also.

I've always liked Large scale but always wonder why Bachmnn has never offered any diesels. as There is a lot who prefer diesels.
