Some years ago Bachmann produced a Chinese 2-8-2 SY Class and a Chinese 2-10-2QJ Class locomotives in ho-scale. Is there any reason why we're not seeing these two steam locomotives in the Spectrum Series?

While looking at wig wag trains website in their Bachmann section they still list the 2-10-0" Russian Decapod" as Coming Soon (?)!

Here's my question is are we ever going to see it?

In reading the Bachmann newsletter/ flyer for the 2011 trains catalog. It states see what's new for 2011. Lots of new roadnames for popular items such as the N-Scale 4-4-0 American Great Northern #124 is this loco DCC equipped or ready for DCC?

  This is just a thought, out of curiosity for those who would like the attempt at keeping a diesel locomotive roster with the same model RR manufacturer company, other than the GP40,GP50, SD40-2,SD45 and the GE DASH 8-40C's and GE DASH 8-40CW's which Bachmann has produced.
  What about the introduction of the GP7,GP9,GP60,SD50 this should include a re-introduction of the GP30 but,this time in N-SCALE? These loco models that I mentioned do not suffer from the lack of railroad names, these loco's would be a nice addition to compliment the series of loco's that is mentioned here. This comes from thoughts of having a variety of locomotives from other manufacterers,which shall remain nameless here ..

    I am trying to create my own steam loco roster and I have two questions they are :

I already have converted and repowered a older Bachmann 2-8-2 into a 0-8-0

  1- I have a older Bachmann 4-8-4"1990's vintage" and a Bachmann N&W J tender could I place the N&W J tender behind the 4-8-4 or could a clear vision tender that will fit the N&W J tender chassis ?

  2- Can I find just the 4-8-2 loco only? Being that I have the 4-8-2 tender  ..

 I don't know if this topic has already been posted could anyone or a BACHMANN representative explain the cancellation of the 2-10-0 in the SPECTRUM LINE N-SCALE, I was ready to purchase two of them.
