On30 / Wish list?
September 30, 2023, 03:09:13 PM
Would it be appropriate if I post this? If not, feel free to let me know or delete the topic.

I just wanted to start up a Bachmann On30 wish list. Now I do not know if there is already a topic on this, but as I was reading through the forums, I noticed where a forum topic acknowledged that Bachmann does read the forums, and take suggestions. With the lack of participation, found on the forum, I would hate to see Bachmann On30 fade out. This is a niche scale, but with enough fan fair, and excitement, we just may be able to return to the peak of it's popularity.

I don't have much on my personal wish list, other than an 8-18d 2-6-0 like the large scale ones.

Thank ya'll

On30 / Tips on Cutting doors in die cast cab?
March 21, 2023, 11:00:02 AM
I was wondering if there are any good tips in requards to modifying the bachmann die cast cabs. I would like to cut the doors open on the ten wheeler, so I can open and close them. I don't know of a good method other than taking a dremal and hacking the door out, and scratch building a replacement door. Are there any more good tips out there in reguards to opening the doors on the die cast cabs?

Thank ya'll

On30 / Is On30 dead to Bachmann?
February 19, 2021, 04:38:38 PM
I've noticed Bachmann really hasn't been turning out many things for On30. Are they planning to faze them out, or continue to make off the wall models that won't sell well?

On30 / How about adding a 2-6-0. an 8-18d 2-6-0
September 27, 2016, 09:17:28 PM
Bachmann has duplicates of most of it's On30 stock. 2 styles of 4-4-0s, 2 porters,  3 geared engines, 2 articulateds, etc. Now how about an 8-18d 2-6-0 Locomotive. It's a bit smaller than a the Glenbrook engine,  but still a beauty. I request the 8-18d because it would also be an easy convert to an 8-18c 4-4-0. It's time to branch out into some 19th century locomotives.

You can't say no to this pretty little thing.
