On30 / brand new engine lockups
March 31, 2018, 12:11:47 PM
:-[HI, I have bought three expensive engines new in the box, and all of them are locked up. one is a forney, one is a 4-4-0, and one is a 2-6-0. no matter how much power you apply in either forward or backward the engines won't move. if you thy to turn the drive wheels they are locked up. can somebody please help me? I have already sent another engine back to bachmann and they charged me 50.00 to fix it. I don"t want to spend 150.00 to fix them. thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

On30 / on30 forney
January 15, 2016, 08:15:08 AM
hi, I have a problem that I hope the forum can help me on. I recently recieved my on30 forney new ,sealed in the box. dcc on board, the instruction sheet says it is backward compatable with dc, when I put the locomotive on the tracks it would'nt run. I checked to see if anything was shorting out, but it was'nt. I made sure that the wheels were on the track. they were, I was wondering if there was a hidden switch I have to find or the engine is defective. thank you for your time in advance. :-\

Large / 2 truck shay
December 23, 2015, 03:32:17 PM
hi, im new to the forum, but have collected
trains for years. My problem is on the 2 truck shay, part of the running gear is metal that fits into a plastic sleeve. They have slipped out of the sleeve and the angle is too steep to get them back together. I need some help because that beautiful engine is just sitting there collecting dust. thank you in advance for any advice anyone can give me.
