Are there parts available for the 2-6-6-2?  I don't see it listed on the parts site.

From what I can gather, the speaker for the sound models is built into the cab?  Do the cabs for sale that show they are for DCC w/sound include this speaker?

I picked up a NOS climax with gear problems.  I'll buy new trucks, but it appears the gearbox is also slipping.  I haven't popped it open yet, but the instructions for gear replacement only addresses repairing the trucks, not the gear box.

Are there some instructions for replacing other gears, not just repairing the trucks?

Side question, is this repair still available from the service department?

I see what looks like a DC climax for sale, and in the pics it has an 8 pin plug with the jumpers for DC use.  Can a decoder be wired using that plug?  The box doesn't say DCC ready so just want to be sure.  I don't want to have to tear it apart to wire it up.  I know I'll need to add a speaker and I can use a sugar cube easy enough.

I just got a streetcar and want to replace the lights with LEDs and add a rectifier and cap.  How does the top come off?  I know it probably snaps together, but thought I'd ask before I start mucking with it.

I've got some rail busses I used for holiday displays with soundtraxx decoders.  Curious if there is a good match for a streetcar.  I was going to just use the same decoders and turn the volume down all the way on the diesel sounds, unless there is something else.

I just stumbled on a NOS DCC Forney Bac25478.  At a brick and mortor hobby shop and I ordered it over the phone, so the info I got is limited... and hopefully I actually receive it.

But anyway, is it sound ready with a drop in sound module?

I'm thinking about finding a rail truck (I know about the gears) and curious if the decoder has a sound 'socket' or does it require a new decoder?

Curious if the gearbox in the chassis has all the gears and just needs the drive shafts?

I see there are replacement trucks for the passenger cars, but I would like to add lights to un-lit caboose and would like to buy replacement trucks from a lighted caboose.

Are there any of these available for sale, or has anyone seen anything available somewhere else?  Would HO trucks fit On30 cars?

Seems by default the headlight and rear light come on all the time.  Would like to make lighting directional based on forward or reverse direction.  What are the CVs and settings to do that?  BTW, I have the sound module installed if that makes a difference.

Also can't seem to find the programming guide for this engine.  Anyone have a link to it?

What sound module do I need for this?  Does it have all the wiring and speaker ready for sound, or would I need to add more stuff?

Also, I man-handled the cab and popped out a window, and I need to know how to take the chassis apart to get access to the inside to replace the window.  The instructions or other info I've seen online don't show how to get the cab off the chassis for access to the inside.

Just got a rail bus and waiting on a Tam Valley Depot shuttle controller.  Curious if it's possible (and how) to program the lights to come on automatically.  There is no function key on the shuttle controller as far as I know.  I have an NCE power cab.

It seems the trailer is a bit light, and I assume adding weight may help.  Anyone have similar results with the rail bus trailer derailing?

Last year about this time there was some whispers of a bluetooth or wifi contol unit that would interface with the EZ command controller and allow you to use it with the EZ App.  Did that unit ever come out, or was it scrapped?

I have a 4-6-0 steam loco (28905, ET&WNC to be exact), and a EZ Command controller.  I am hoping my local train shop will be willing to reprogram my sound for me, and I want to be able to give them details so they will be more open to help and not have to page through the manuals to figure it out.

I want to move the default sounds normally activated by the throttle and put them on F9.  I want to do this so I can activate and deactivate those sounds without muting all sounds.  I also want to reduce the volume for those sounds by at least half.

I think the sounds I want to move are Exhaust Chuff and Snifter Valve.  I'd also like to move whatever sounds are normally active while the loco is sitting still, if that is possible.

Would anyone be kind enough to help a newbie?   Is it even possible to do that?

I got a used controller and companion and the command controller works fine.  The walk around companion lights up and all buttons and LEDs light as if it is working, but it doesn't control the loco.  Is there a way to reset the companion or troubleshoot the problem?

Can someone please tell me the model number of the power supply in the auto-reverse kit?

I'd like to build a very large set using the auto-reverse power supply in this kit.
