I just saw the K4 and was interested, but I run DC only. Does this locomotive run on DC as well as DCC? If not, is it easy to convert to DC, and if so, how would that be done?

If you looked on the parts store for a discontinued locomotive, say the EM-1, and bought all the parts and put them together, would you have a working locomotive? If so, would it work WELL?

I have been considering purchasing the Spectrum Acela Express, but I have a few questions.
1. Is the set DCC only, or can it operate on DC also?
2. Will it work on 18' radius track?
3. If it can operate on DC, where can I find the train by itself excluding the track etc?
4. Is it any faster than other locomotives?
5. How can I replace the couplers for normal knuckle couplers, and what couplers should I use?

Hi, I'm considering buying some Atlas Code 100 track to use with my EZ Track. Are the two compatible? Will I need to use a different power pack/speed controller?

I'm using a Prairie 2-6-2, and I've noticed that it runs slower when I also have my lighted coaches on the track, and at low speeds the locomotive will stop moving and the coaches will use the power instead. Is there a way to fix this or to maybe add more power? I'm using the dc power pack from the challenger set.

I recently got manual turnouts from the 12-piece expander set. Is there a way to convert these into remote turnouts? If there is, where would I get the mechanism?
