I have 2 Bachmann two truck shays and 2 Bachmann Climax. I have 4 Tsunami 2 TSU-1100 Digital Sound Decoders P.N 884006 Steam-2, plus speakers to install into these 4 Locomotives. I will be removing the PCB boards to allow for space. 

So it will be a hard wire.

What size resistor must I use to run between the LED light and the Decoder?

I have a On30 Bachmann Spectrum 4-6-0 Steam Locomotive. Under the Tender it is stamped DCC on board. Alas, their is not, I just have the 4 pin connector and a maze of wires going no where, except the wires going to the LED light mounted on the Tender. I will need the Circuit Board, Decoder, Sound Board and the speaker.

At the engine side of this locomotive I removed the #30 wiring due to improper soldering, the use of masking tape to cover soldered joints instead of shrink wrap and I can only assume that the proper solder and flux was not used, the whole project was a disasters mess to say the least.

So I removed the grey and red factory wires at the engine points due to instability of the strand wire; replaced the grey #30 wire with #26 black strand wire and did the same on the red side using red color coded wire, re-soldered with the appropriate electrical solder and flux and then shrink wrap the joints.

I am a novice to DCC for my last layout was all DC many years back. I checked the Bachmann site for those parts, 
basically not knowing what to look I am against the wall as to do what to do. Ebay doesn't have circuit boards for that loco.

What must I do? Or were must I go to get such items?

I have a ON30 Bachmann Baldwin 4-6-0Spectrum. This loco needs extensive repair which I am in the process doing. It was a DCC but all the boards have been removed and just the wiring harness's are their. Initially a #30 gauge wire was in place on the motor from the factory but the wire has been moved around so much that they broke away from the resistor on the motor so I replaced all the wires leading from the motor to the LED light in the front Part#28697 and to the plug that clips to the male connecter at the Tender with #26 strand wire.

The part in question here is the front LED Housing (#28697). On this particular part there is a cap(#0AD08) and the lens (#0AU01). What is shows in the printable parts list of the Loco right of the Bachmann web site is that these two parts can be removed assume to accesses the LED contained within the housing Part #28697.

Which one is the easiest to remove? I would make an educated guess and say the # 0AD08 part at the top and then I would assume the LED would pull straight up and out of the housing but it appears to be glued, as does the lens cover #0AU01.

Two reason for replacement: I want a brighter LED and secondly I am not sure which of the two wires is the positive wire for their cut equally in length.

Any suggestions.

I have the body of a Bachmann 28 ton 2 truck shay "Little Logging Co.". Does anyone know where I could purchase the trucks and motor for this ON30 Loco? I tried ebay but no such luck. Checking the parts list on the Bachmann site here and they don't sell those parts. Any suggestions.
