looking for a  dcc decoder (NOT SOUND) for Bachmann emd gp40 .  It's a Ho (miss. kan.tx.) #63519. The web site shows it has a factory installed 8 pin plug.   I'v checked Digitract with no luck so far.  Thanks

I recently received a 2-6-6-2 Spectrum dcc (no sound).  I have a Digitrax Zephyr DSC51 controller.  I like to increase the speed, as this engine runs slower than I would like.  I ran other steam engine and they ae doing fine.  Thanks for any help.   Restorer

I received some suggestions on purchasing 2-8-0 spectrum vs. the standard line, but how can you tell how many poles are in the engine without disassembly.  Where are these located and the purpose.   I have the spec sheet for an 2-10-2 spectrum and it shows an ass-motor. A local dealer has an unopened spectrum Southern 2-8-0 (non DCC). It 's close to the  the same price as the standard line (with DCC) on the internet.  I can install the DCC on the spectrum.  Any thoughts on the best choice.   The Dcc would run about $30.00 plus.  Thanks
