On30 / My Layout
February 01, 2009, 08:37:36 AM
Hi. I'm going to take a break from posting links on other topics to tell you about my layout.

I'm interested in On30 because it can combine 2 and 3 foot gauge prototypes. I'm especially a fan of the Bumblebee paint sceme of the Denver and Rio Grande Western. I think it is the Warbonnet of narrow gauge.

In addition, I plan to have cartoon characters to entertain the kids including The Super Mario Brothers and the characters from Open Season.

I'm currently saving up for a train show coming in February. Can anyone please offer some advice? Thank you. My table for my layout is, by the way, 6x8.

Do you guys think park trains would be a good idea for Bachmann?

Take, for example, this engine.

On30 / New Tank engine ideas
January 17, 2009, 06:41:00 PM
As you know, so far, Bachmann has made 0-4-0Ts, 0-4-2Ts, and 2-4-4Ts. But I think Bachmann should go beyond those tank engines to other types.
Such as...

The 0-4-4T

http://www.steamlocomotive.info/vlocomotive.cfm?Display=455

The 0-4-0CA or compressed air

http://www.steamlocomotive.info/vlocomotive.cfm?Display=5860

The 0-6-0T

http://www.steamlocomotive.info/vlocomotive.cfm?Display=1973

The 0-6-2T

http://www.steamlocomotive.info/vlocomotive.cfm?Display=392

and The 4-4-0T

I hope Bachmann considers these ideas.  ;D

Thomas & Friends / Recreating places on Sodor
September 24, 2008, 07:53:59 AM
Since I've started a topic about Brendam Docks, I've decided to start a thread on recreating other locations on Sodor such as Knapford station, Tidmouth sheds(6 or 7 stalls), Mr. Jolly's Chocolate factory, etc. This will not only help me but also other modelers. ;)

:) I'm superthomasfan and I'm a big fan of Thomas. I'm planning to recreate the Island of Sodor using a combination of Hornby and Bachmann products.
