So it's the policy here to delete posts that don't speak glowingly of Bachmann products or policies? (ie ultra dissapointing EM-1 sound)

I just got (new) a funny running loco. It runs slow in forward and once you put it in reverse and move it, it keeps on going even after the throttle is returned to "0" AND the direction is set to forward or brake..Kind of funny.... I swapped decoders AND tenders with other 2-10-4's and it made no difference.

How many different wiring schemes are used for tender to engine connections,and which units use them. I want to form a list of what tenders can be swapped with what engines.

Greetings all. How do I get the decoder out of a Niagra's tender? I want to stick a Tsunami in there but all I can do is get one end of the tender off. Any thoughts?

Hi All;
   I just got a Niagara and noticed that if I pick up the loco by the shell the rear of the shell lifts up about 1/4 inch from the chassis. Is this normal?
