First of all, I would like to thank Williams by Bachmann for doing the Norfolk Southern Executive set.  I am very excited about this.
I just saw the pre-production drawings of it and I like what I see.

I do have one suggestion though.  Many people that have or plan to pre-order this set, are ordering an extra B unit.  I am ordering two B units also

?Would you please consider doing a second B unit in another road number? Even a limited run of a second road number would be nice.

Thank you.

Williams by Bachmann locomotives are excellent.
Part of the reason that they are so affordable is because they don't go over board with details. This is one of the reasons that I love them so much. You can modify them to your liking. They are also great runners.

I have a C&O E7 and a C&O GP38. I decided to add cab interiors in the GP38 and in both A units of the E7 set.

Lionel's F3 interiors fit  the E7 and GP38 with little modification. The one for the E7 only needs some filing/sanding to make it fit. There is another F3 interior, from Lionel that fits the GP38 better. The one I put in it has a cylindrical area that fits around the front motor perfectly. The motor is very close to the window and this hides it from view.

I put together an album on photobucket that shows photo of what I did.
Just go to this link> http://s574.photobucket.com/albums/ss182/SunfireGT1996/Cab%20Interiors%20for%20Williams%20by%20Bachmann/
If you click on each picture, in that album, you will see written details and the part numbers for the items I used.

I left the interior of the GP38 silver for photo purposes. I plan on painting it black to blend and disappear.

March 31, 2009, 08:05:18 PM
I am considering wiring my E7 in series. I would really like to have the slower speeds. Right now it takes off very fast.
Has anyone done this with their WBB? Have you had any Problems?

Thanks.   -CandO

Williams by Bachmann / C&O E7 w/ 60' Streamliners
February 07, 2009, 12:05:42 PM
I just purchased a Williams C&O E7 A-A set.  I am totally impressed with this train. The size is amazing and there is a lot of detail.  The electric horn and whistle are very true to life. This is my first Williams train and I gotta tell you, I think I will be a fan for life.

Does anyone out there with this E7 run the 60' aluminum streamliners?
If so, are they a good match in size and color to the E7?

All of Williams E7s are very beautiful pieces of 3rail art. I am just a big huge fan of C&O railroad.

I run this train on Lionel FasTrack with my newer generation Lionel ZW.  I thought I would mention this in case anyone was concerned on it being compatible with the E7s.

Thanks guys and happy railroading.
