Yes I just ordered my new steam engine on the way from Mario's Trains. I will give everyone and update when it arrives.   Williams Southern Semi-Scale 4-6-2 Pacific - True Blast Plus

I got my new steam engine and unpacked it and lubed her up and saw that the the back trucks side plate not there. I found it in the carton and the screw was inside the tender on the speaker magnet. Now how in the world could that screw get there. I think Bachmann might want to check there quality control some where along the line. This was completely seal from the factory so no one had been it this carton. I removed the truck screw from under the speaker and repaired the truck and put it all back together and all is good. I really like this engine and has great sound. I am still a WBB die hard. The just are great engines and run great.

I wonder if there are any RS-11 engine on the horizon to be made. I sure would like to have some with all the good sounds and quality that WBB makes.

Well I ordered the new GP38 CSX from Mario's Trains yesterday and it is on its way to me. I will have some pictures as soon as I get it.  


Okay I got my CSX this morning and outstanding service from Mario's Trains. The sound is great and WBB did a great job with this one as they really do with all there engines.

I just ordered the Dash 9 Green and White Southern. Also ordered 2 new sound 16 bit modules to put in two of my NW2 switchers. I got the RS 3 sound. I know its not correct but will do for me. Thanks again WBB for making just great stuff. My engines just keep growing. Next on the list is the Southern Steam engine or maybe the CSX GP38.  

Update when I ordered my engine and sound units they were shipped the same day and due in first of the week. What great service from Mario's Trains.

It made here today and looking good. I will do some detailing but a really nice engine.

I just got two GP38 Seaboards one motored and one dummy on the way to me. I will send them to my detail shop. 
I need to start getting some new 16 bit WBB sound systems to plug and play with my engines. That will be the next project. I wish I could find a dealer that would maybe discount a little by buying say maybe 6 at a time.

Well they have made it to the shop and I thought I would give it a try to do some detailing myself.

I just got my set of ABA Sp F7's. These are from the older series Williams and have true sound.(QSI) Really nice set. I have not sent them to my detailing shop yet. I am enjoying running them. I did put a scale kadee coupler on the lead unit.

I have a new RS3 that the reserving board seems to have gone bad and it will run only one direct. I have check the lock switch and it is okay. If I use and older board and it works correctly. The newer board has three more plugins so the old board will now work for lighting and the locking switch. My question is can the new board be purchased now or if not when will it be available?

I know I can send it back for repair but,  was just hoping to get a new board and save all that shipping cost both ways and possible damage in shipping. Thanks for taking time to read my issue.

Just got my WBB NW2 out of the detailing shop and my good friend has done another great job with this one.

Is there any word on when the True Blast Plus boards will be available? I am looking forward to upgrading my WBB engines. 

I made a LED for my Southern E7 Dummy A unit which I also put motor in as well. I have also done the same for all my 12 GP9 units as well.

As I am looking at the 2014 catalog and making sure I have all my pre-orders I noticed that the new GP38's just say dual headlights. It doesn't say directional LED lighting. I hope that is a miss print because the GP30 and RS3 do have that and its really a nice feature. If not its not a deal breaker for me I am still getting the CSX GP38 the detail and sound are great. Also got the southern 44 ton switcher on order as well. Thanks for any response on the lighting.

I just picked up another new GP9 from Trainworld blow out sales on GP9 dummy Illinois Central for 49.99 great deal. Anyway it is headed to become a Southern Black with white stripe to go with my motor GP9 Southern Black. I will show you the finished product when I get it back but this is the before shot.

Well I have now placed my order for the 44 ton switcher in southern of course.  my father drove that type engine during WWII. I have to have one of those for sure. Thanks again WBB 

Well I really like those RS 3 so I got another one but it is the Pennsylvania Railroad so I dropped it off at my friends and he will be making it a green Southern. I will have pictures when he finishes. Thanks WBB for such great engines.

Well I had to send the unit back to the paint shop because the boys must have had to much party the night before because they missed some white paint  

OK I just picked up this GP 38 Dummy unit and drop it off at my friend house who will make it a ACL unit to go with my GP 30 ACL. So this is the before picture and I will post the the finish unit when I get it back.

Well I picked up a New Jersey Central NW 2 and you know I had to make it a Southern  So off it goes to my friend house for the repaint and detailing so here it is:

Just got this addition to my RS3 Fleet. A good friend of mine had this Lionel RS4/3 that had a lot of issues and he gave it to me so I gutted it out and make a really nice dummy unit.

This is a question for maybe Yardmaster or 3rail in fact anyone who might have the answer.

I took my new RS3 to our club meeting last week and everyone really like it but a few people had a couple of question so I thought I would put them out here to see if there might be answer.

1. With the prime mover sound can it be made to be turned off but keep the bell and horn to work.

2. Can you take out the True Blast II plus board with prime mover sound and replace it with the true blast II only board?

My answer to question number 1 was NO.
I could not answer number 2.

Thanks in advance for any input on this two questions. Once again thanks WBB for all the great products you are producing. I really like my RS3 and GP30 as I do of all my WBB engines and cars.
