I'm only making this a separate topic because I want to ensure an admin reads it, as this is a big deal for the Thomas Range. (First time an engine has been announced and then canceled. Not counting Rickety and Fred.)

Simply put; Large Scale Diesel has been left out of the catalogue for 2018. What happened?
-Cancelled?
-Accidentally forgot to add him in? (Hey mistakes happen)
-Or did they literally finish a design, say nevermind, and then reuse the face file for the new "Grumpy Diesel"?

My bet is on the last one. Don't know why they would cancel it, it opened the possibility of a few more products to reuse a lot of parts. Maybe this time they could of thought ahead and designed the face pin slots more towards the center of the front so they could have literally recoloured him for Paxton/Sidney.
Dunno, but I'm pretty upset about how poorly the Large Scale Thomas range is being treated the past few years.

I was at a train show today, and picked up two of the Ice Cream Wagons, one of them is normal, and one of which turned out to be 'special'. The 'special' one I'm talking about doesn't have any wheels, or axles for that matter.
How would I go about getting this issue resolved?

I've been upset about the poor quality of paint put onto certain products such as Thomas, James, Emily, (Not so much Emily as the others, but still...) and now currently Jeremy. I received him about a week ago, and he has done nothing but sit on my layout table, and have nothing touch him, and then I go to pick him up, and set him down on a truck, but then I noticed that his smile was scratched off. For paying such a premium price for a plastic (basically a scenery piece, considering the wheels are fake.), literally the price I paid for my Bachmann Thomas (a motorized engine) is downright ridiculous. If you're going to charge hefty prices, Bachmann, make them actually worth the price would you..? (This is directed at the entire range, not just Jeremy.) Thanks.

i have to say that it looks great!

but i have a few questions about it;

1.) How tall is it?
2.) Does it have a light?
3.) if so does it spin?
4.) will it be able to work with DCC?
5.) is it able to be screwed down without affecting anything?

I was talking to Corrie (thompsonline) on skype the other day and he made some good points aout what he thought it would be, such as it wouldnt be another gray truck with a diff face because all they would have to do is MAKE ANOTHER FACE, that would take a month or less...

i hade it pulling some "real world" cars and then a side rod holder thing broke (the white part)

Bach-Man do you fix "Bachmann Branch-Line" engines or just american/thomas engines?
(because i dont want to send it back to Ehattons and wait like 2 months to get it back or get a new one and have to paint it all over again)

about them, do they all have the same motor and inside's? because i have all 3 but the daylight is the fastest and the postwar is the slowest and the difference is very noticable when running at the same time. 

mr bachmann is it just me or are the tender engines stronger foward then the are backwards?

because i had james pulling spencers special coach and special brake coach (i think james looks good with those coaches) and it was just fine, but backwards he barely moved  and then wilbert had to come help him out!

My parents will buy me one engine of my choice for my birthday anyone one have a good idea of which one to pick?

i think that bachmann should make the other new engines i mean they made emily, and spencer and salty is coming out later this year but make murdoch, arthur, and harvey (his crane dosent even have to move)and billy and rosie... and all those other engines.

maybe not all at once but within the next century would be nice please.
