HO / Steel Alloy Track
October 16, 2010, 12:38:14 PM
Anyone who is having trouble with their steel alloy track, here is a useful tip. Take a sanding block and run it along the rails and the dirt should come off. Just blow it off with some electronics cleasner and it should be good as new!  ;) Hope it helps.

HO / GE 70 Tonner Problem
May 29, 2010, 11:54:44 PM
Hi,

I bought the Bachmann GE 70 Tonner Switcher this morning (Item No. 60607), and when I started running it, it sounded like it was making a heck of a lot of clag when it ran. I was wondering if this is a common occurance on these engines. Please help. (There is no sound decoder in there by the way.)

I have a question for ALL of Bahmann Industries. As a modeler of British layouts, would it be possible for Bachmann to start retailing their UK products, Bachmann Branchlines?

General Discussion / The F40PH
April 05, 2010, 08:59:06 PM
You know that awesome loco, the F40PH. I noticed it didn't have a thread for itself, so I made it one. I never actually knew how much people love these engines until I read the article about it on Encyclopedia Dramatica. Here's a vid with just some of it's awesomeness:

General Discussion / The Good Old Days
July 03, 2009, 10:18:56 PM
Well, I think that some of you may Know about British Rail's New Engine 60163 "Tornado" A1 Pacific. It's been about 50-60 years scince the last Mailine Brit engine was built. So do you think more new steamers are on the way. Cause if there is, it had BETTER be an 8F or a 7F

A 7F-http://www.penmorfa.com/rdmrc/mw19.jpg

Thomas & Friends / Diesel
July 02, 2009, 04:14:11 PM
I was just looking on Modelfair.com for some Class 40 diesels and i found this: http://www.newmodellersshop.co.uk/images/Trains/diesel/r2777-ews-class-08.jpg. This was made by Hornby. So just a question, why did they use the old Triang 08 mold for Diesel?

It seems that sometimes we forget what having a Model train is all about. This video helps reminds us why we get them. (I mean seriously, I can't even expect myself to keep a train looked up in it's box for 55,000,000,000 years)
