I took out the power pickups (brass tube with a spring brass insert and a ball bearing) plunger
Is there a pic on how it's supposed to look ?
No......  I'm not taking the other truck apart .I already lost one setup ..
Any plunger out there ..it says sold out..any one have a couple ?

I have and older Climax and I could use a motor cover , as one of mine all 4 corners are breaking were the screw are.
Anyone have one they want to part with ?

I set my rail truck on the track to give it a run ... whining noise .... tried to move .. gave it a push .. I'm thinking split gears..
Note: the rail truck has been sitting for a while .. could the gear split from age? 
How do I tell which production I have?

Old age!
I took out the smoke unit from my Large Scale Shay a while ago.
For the life of me I can't remember how to hook it back up.
Can some one gently pull there smoke unit out, and take a quick pic of it's connections.
I know were the wires come from and go , but not were they go on the unit.

How diff is it from the newest   3 truck shay ?
I didn't find it in the F.A.Q. or in the area (Parts,service,& Information)
I'm trying to find out were the two wires from the front truck go??

Well if you are like me and open the " Ask the Bachmann Forum " page and pick a topic,You might just not notice things!!  
Well I did notice that the F.A.Q. in Large scale had something in it!  
Lets hope they add more tidbits!!

I"m replacing the old shay trucks with the new metal trucks.
O.K. so I take the old trucks of the older version SHAY per instruction .
The next part seems simple....connect red wire to red and black to black.. right !!!
The front of the shay has two black wires, and the front has two red wires...
You can not make this sh*t up!!
HHHMMMM... ??
