The main gear axle broke on my Porter.  Bachmann parts suggested I use this forum to possibly locate what I need.

Is Bachmann fazing out Large Scale?  It seems like a lot of its inventory is discontinued.

I have a Climax, 86096, with DCC and sound.  My layout is powered only with DC transformer power. In DC mode this loco will not start to move until about 10 volts of power is added.  All my other locos start moving at much lower voltage.  But the time my Climax gets to operating speed, my other locos are going way too fast.

I see that Bachmann also has a Climax, 85096, being DC ready , but not installed and no sound.

Does anyone know if this loco (85096) will operate at lower voltages like my other Bachmann locos?

I have an older two truck shay.  I just had Bachmann service replace the original trucks with the updated ones.  I want to install a polarity switch into the loco so I can either change directions or disable to power to it (three way switch).  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I need some parts for my Shay, specifically one axle gear, a yoke assembly, the ball bearing pick-up assemblys, front step.

I have a Spectrum 4-4-0 loco.  One of the wires coming from the cab caught on something and tore out.  I want to be able to get inside the chassis and resolder this wire and try to shorten the others (they're way to long).

It looks pretty complicated.

Any suggestions?

I just received my large scale 4-4-0 Spectrum loco.  In the box there was a baggie with two short wires, one red and the other black.  What are they to be used for?

I have a Spectrum Mogul that is several years old.  I've had grear failures twice.

Has Bachmann upgraded these gears?

Are these locos no longer availalble?

I have a Shay and a Porter that the headlights don't work.  I need help in how to change them without damaging the housings.

I have G scale Spectrum Mogul that probably has a motor/gear problem.  How do I get at the motor assembly to inspect and possibly remove it for repair?
