HO / Lionel-HO Canadian 1975-76 Catalog online...

New addition to the Lionel-HO 1970s Resource...

The one and only Canadian Lionel-HO product catalog for the '70s HO-scale model trains...

http://www.ho-scaletrains.net/lionelho1970scatalogresource/id72.html

For those unfamiliar, the Lionel-HO items featured in this catalog are Kader-made.  The Lionel-HO Canadian market received some Kader-made items not included in the U.S. Lionel-HO line like the 51' Plug Door Box Car and the 51' Flat Car with Containers.

Enjoy!

Hello:

Now online at the Bachmann HO-Scale Trains Resource, all the Bachmann product catalogs of the 1970s.  Many of the '80s catalogs are online there too.  I've also been working on the Train Sets sections and the Locomotive and Rolling Stock sections.  You'll find many pictures, including some great full page ads Bachmann ran in the '70s.

Though not Bachmann, I know some enjoy old model trains of all makers so I'd like to provide links to recent updates I've made on my sites.

First, the complete TYCO 1981 and 1982 product catalogs...

1981

1982

And I've updated my TYCO US-1 Electric Trucking Resource.  This was an interesting variation on the HO-scale slot car offered between 1981 and 1986 by TYCO...

This was last year to date that would see Bachmann only offering N-scale model trains.  Also included in 1969 was the Mini-Planes line and some interesting Bachmann-TOMY electronic toys.

Enjoy!

HO / EZ DCC Command and Sound?
December 15, 2007, 04:32:25 PM
Will Bachmann's EZ DCC Command (44902) control sound equipped locos?  I see the number keys (1-10), but do they control sound functions like Horn, Bell, etc. as those number keys would on say a Digitrax Zephyr throttle?

I have a friend who wants to install sound in a loco and asked whether his Bachmann EZ DCC Command would be able to control the sound?

Thanks,

Tony

Now have three classic Bachmann product catalogs available online...

The latest is the complete 1983 Bachmann Catalog.  This was the company's 150th Anniversary edition and included the PowerHouse and M*A*S*H sets in HO-scale; UP's DDA40X comes to N-scale; and the short-lived 1/32nd Road Racing.

HO / NMRA National Show Announcements
July 28, 2007, 09:32:43 PM
 ;D

Very Happy Mr. Bach-Man!

Great Announcements from the NMRA Show!

The Berkshire and E60CP Electrics are great surprises...as are the Sharks in HO-scale!!!  Can't Wait!  Already pre-ordered a Berk; E60CP; and 3 Sharks from my dealer.

Eager to see the pics, when you have them available to post.

Also, are the delivery dates correct?  I remember you stated Bachmann planned to shorten the window between announcements and delivery, but was surprised to see Oct/Nov '07 dates on most of these new items!  Cool, if correct!

Thanks!

Still a work-in-progress...but then as unknown items and new variations continue to appear I suspect that none of my sites will ever be truly done-finished-and/or-complete...the Rolling Stock section of my Bachmann HO-Scale Trains Resource is now online.

Visit It Today...And Watch For Updates...
