General Discussion / EZ Track Motorized Turntable update
December 02, 2010, 07:58:09 PM
Hey bachmann
I'm just looking for an update on the motorized turntable, when should we expect to see it. I'm planning on doing a kit bash for the Tidmoth Shed. Also is there copies of the owners manual on the website yet I want to do research on how it works with DCC and if I'll need to buy a decoder for it or could you tell me which type I should buy

Thanks

General Discussion / EZ track DCC turnout with lights
November 08, 2010, 08:54:11 AM
I the process of setting up my setup i'm using EZ track DCC turnouts and want to use lights to indicate the position of the switch. is there a way to use a TCS FL2 to switch the lights at the same time the turnout is switched or can anyone suggest a better way of doing it.
Also if i'm using a two signal light i assume the green light should indicate that the switch is thrown closed for the mainline and red would indicate siding or branch line corret

thanks for the help and advice

General Discussion / DCC Discussion Board
October 10, 2010, 07:28:17 PM
Hey Bachann
here is an Idea for a new discussion board.  DCC
It seem to me that a lot of discussions, questions and talk on other boards could be placed under this on topic board called DCC
Maybe other members would find it usefull like I would, seeing that I'm somewhat new to DCC I find myself looking for answers and would like a friendly place to go to get help

Thanks for the consideration

General Discussion / EZ track
September 02, 2010, 05:10:23 PM
Hey Bachmann
looking at on of the 36" tracks it appear the it is actually 2 18" pieces of roadbed with single track holding it togethter. Have you ever considered selling the 18" peices seperatly.
one other question, the new turntable mentions DCC. Is it DCC compatable or DCC controled. If not could a DCC decoder be used to control it

thanks

Thomas & Friends / New Motorized Turntable
July 16, 2010, 09:03:47 PM
OK Mr Bachmann
know you got me thinking. With the announcement of your new motorized turntable. I need to know will it replace or work with the manual turntable that comes with the Tidmouth shed kit. My other question is, you state that it works with DCC does that mean a DCC controler can operate it

Is there any chance you might sell the Tidmouth Shed with this new turntable

thanks

General Discussion / HO track cleaning car
May 04, 2010, 09:17:58 PM
is it possible to put one of the couplers for the Thomas line on a track cleaning car so I could have one of those engines pull this car or should I just get a regular engine with that type of coupler

General Discussion / Programming Track Relay
April 13, 2010, 09:16:39 AM
I'm thinking of setting up a programming track as a spur line on my layout. I want to use a MRC Dispatch Decoder to activate a DPDT relay to switch power to the track between main and programming I will use a section of track with a gap.
Should I consider doing anything else to this set up so I don't do any damage to any other parts of the setup

thanks for any helpful information

John
