December 30, 2010, 09:24:06 AM
I'm planing on making a "underground yard" i say underground because it is going to be under my regular track by 16.5" so i was wondering how to go about getting from my "underground yard" back up to my main track. Space is an Issue!

I'm am using anyrail to help me plan it out. I'm using the limited edition but have printing capabilities if needed.

Any suggestions?

General Discussion / DCC trains ru from computer
December 16, 2010, 06:30:11 PM
Wow it has been a while since i have been on here. but i have yet another question to ask :) *go figure*

OK this has interested me ever since i have started deciding how i want to run my trains once its all said and done. so here is what i would like to know. is their any way i can run my DCC trains from my computer using my LAN port and USB ports? being connected to my EZ command system. i have found some things on-line but none of them will work with LAN ports or usb ports and i only have a laptop with those so I'm kinda out of luck until i get some thing with the other ports they use.

thx

General Discussion / Which is better 2 stay with?
October 01, 2010, 03:04:47 PM
Which is better to stay with? im going to buy a dynamis system and i wanted to know which wold be better to go with. i have some analogue crossovers and switches that i am thinking about exchanging for dcc controlled one so i only have to use the controller. if someone else has allready posted this please let me know ;D.
Also is their any programs to send my crossovers and switches back to get some money back so it brings down the cost of the Dcc ones?

Please let me know

General Discussion / problems with anyrail
August 09, 2010, 04:13:51 PM
i have got a problem with anyrail i finally broke down and am trying anyrail. works great. just 1 problem im having is im putting in my slope measurements and according to anyrail the slope is way over 2% but yet my trains hav no prob going up the incline at all. why is it that in a model things dont come out right but in real life they work fine. yes i know i should have said that "why is that everything in a model works great but in life it dosent work out that way." which for once is wrong.

whoo hoo finally somthing exciting about life.

i have a question. I'm going to buy the dynamis system, i know it works the same way as the DCC command center. so here come my question

in going to have a yard that is isolated from the rest of the track via "the insulated gap track" so on the main track the dynamis system will do the work, but in the yard the DCC command center will be at work. so what i would like to know is, do u have to use the same address on both controller's or can i have different address for the yard and the main track?

thx,
