How do I get my EZ track power routed switches to perform right? I have a double oval with four switches on each side connecting them. I have only 6 insulated rail joiners on the layout(after showing my track plan to the guy at the local train store). I have the same terminal on each oval but when I try to switch the train into the next oval, it stops. I need help!!!! I want to get my layout up and running.

Thanks. :P ??? >:(

I put together a layout with EZ track in N scale with an outside and inside oval connected with switches. I was told to put inulated rail joiners on the outside rail where the two switches meet. I hooked up a power pack to both ovals. I tried running the train to see if it would go into the inside oval and vice-versa but it stopped once it hit the switch. I was told by the guy at the local train store that as long as I have the same type of power pack and terminal, I should be fine. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

Hi. I'm looking to find realistic grade crossing decals in "N" scale(not the signs but to put on the road). Does anyone know where I can purchase some?

Thanks,

General Discussion / Cutting EZ Track
February 24, 2007, 09:58:16 PM
I need some advice concerning EZ Track. I model in N scale and I have to cut some pieces to fit my track plan. What is the best way to cut the EZ Track? I tried a model saw and it worked well but I need to remove a tie from the cut edge. Do I have to remove the rails and reinstall them? Thanks.
