I find it interesting that the new Bachmann magazine does not want photos of OUTDOOR large scale railroads.
What gives?

I am kit bashing the large scale Baldwin 2-6-6-2 and can not find out what the brown, white, orange, and yellow wires in the bunker are for.  I am putting a tender on the engine and removing the saddle tanks so it would help if I knew what these wires do.  Anyone know the answer to this question

I have installed lots of sound systems but I am not an expert in electronics so when I opened the tender on the K-27 I was a little lost and need some advice.  I will be using the Phoenix sound board  and all I need to know where do I pick up track power?,  where do I get the chuff signal (do I use a reed switch?), do I use a reed switch for the whistle signal (I am almost sure that is what I have to do)?
