I waited a while for the N Scale Ten Wheelers; maybe I will be able to wait long enough for the N Scale WM Russian Decapods...

All the best,

N / E-Z Track® FAQ on Track Specifications?
January 27, 2009, 12:39:14 AM
The Bach Man,

My memory says E-Z Track® questions come up a lot, even questions about the specifications and dimensions of the track (I just discovered from necessity that the tip=AC, ring=variable DC, sleeve=common on the generic Bachmann controllers that come with the sets).  A quick search did not turn up a nice set of answers.  And I could find no more details than those provided in the product catalog list descriptions.

I believe it would be nice to have a manual with all the details of the specifications, dimensions, standards, nominal configurations (turnouts, parallel track, etc.), the electrical info and turnout trouble shooting (like rewiring your backwards turnout).  Even matching it with other brand and sizes of track.

I don't' use E-Z Track® myself, but I know people who do.  This would be very helpful.

Thanks,
Charles

Well, at my house anyway.  I got the dark green body with red roof.  What a nice little car!  Thanks Bachmann!

Charles

PS, anyone else order any of these?

N / Digitrax N Scale Sound Decoder
December 04, 2007, 12:05:07 AM
Hello,

Don't know if this is news to you-all, but I was just at the Oklahoma
City Train Show (yes I am far from home), and I visited the Digitrax
booth. They now have a decoder for N scale with down-loadable sound.
I talked to the representative and he said they announced it two weeks
ago. None of the brochures covered it, but if I remember the price
listed was $60. It comes with a large speaker HO style. Talked to the
guy, he said their plan was that you just remove that speaker and
attach the speaker of your choice. The list price for the sound loader
was $100, I believe this is their standard sound loading device.

Thought I would let you know.
