Help, I have a G gauge christmas train that will not run.I have a brand new speed controller, track connector, and plug in..the train still will not work. It worked fine last Christmas..any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Howdy, finally after 2 years have my Bachmann G running...yeh..anyway, I put a 9 volt battery in the Tender to make the "chug, chug" sound...but, no sound comes out....I am not sure if there is a switch or not...HELP PLEASE

in reality, how big of an area should I plan for my G scale Bachmann Christmas train ?

Howdy, I have just re-done my 4' x 8" HO layout and did some additions to my original.  For some reason, I am having great difficulty keeping the Santa Fe and UP locos with the  trains behind them, and keeping them from derailing.  I have (2) separate tracks set up, as well as (2) power controllers.....Before I changed the layout around, I used the BrightBoy "lightly" on both the wheels and the tracks, just to clean them up.  I had the original layout set up for 2 years, and did not experience these continuous derailments....of course, I now wish I would have just let it alone, but I wanted a different design....I did make sure the 4' x 8' boards were level...hmmm.  Also, on the layout before I changed it, I could run the trains at high power without derailing, just for fun of course, and now, even at 1/2 speed, I run into issues...any suggestions?....thanks in advance...".frustrated in Seattle.."

Howdy, and thanks for the scenery replies.  I am also going to switch my DC to the Bachmann DCC EZ command. Is this going to be a pain for me?  I am leary of doing something that will be very confusing to me, and a bit of on the "timid" side to do something new with my DCC equipped Locos.  What problems may I run into before I get started ?  I like everything to be easy and in order....thanks in advance ")

Spring is finally here and time to switch my Bachmann layout to a Spring theme.  Just wondering, should I lay out the tracks and train first, or should I set my new Scenery up first.  I have more buildings, etc for Spring, and do not want to get it halfway done and then have to take it down...just saying...I will have 2 tracks running, one with Bachmann HO Santa Fe, and the other Bachmann UP....thanks in advance for your help

I must say I had "great" service from Bachmann on the return of a brand new Loco to me for replacement and get this, it was in January, one of their busiest times, and it only took a month, good job !!!  Anyway, I had also enclosed a plastic bag of parts and asked them to respond to me what these parts were.  There were some track connectors and other wire "stuff."  These were not returned, most likely lost.  So, does anyone out there no what these parts would be, so I can order some before I set my layout up?  I have already ordered the track connectors, and they shipped within a week, once again, fabulous service.

Howdy, just received a replacement Loco from Bachmann, but I had also sent a small bag of some kind of parts, metal things and track connector type things, at least that is what they looked like, and they must have been lost in the "shuffle."  I sent them back because I did not know what they were for and wanted them to let me know.  I noticed my track is a bit loose as the train runs around it...makes me think the could have been connectors of some sort.  Anyway, will just order some more if anyone can let me know what they are and if Bachmann carries them...thanks in advance.

Just received a replacement Loco from Bachmann, thanks for your fast, efficient service.  Anyway, before I set up my track, just wondering about the wheels, or whatever they are called on the Loco.  They are kind of on a piece of metal and swivel back and forth...is that right?  Tried to upload a pic, but uploader was full..thanks in advance.

What are the best track cleaners from Bachmann/Willams for HO.  Also, what is the difference in the black and gray track, is one better than the other?  Thanks

I have a Bachmann HO Santa Fe set and 2 other Bachmann sets, and have a total of 3 Bachmann power packs, (that came with the sets).  How many trains can I run per track, or should I have a separate track for each set ??  Will I lose power if I run more than one set on a track.  thanks

Howdy..I just purchased this transformer and am now wondering if it will work with my HO track.  I have 2 other "regular" Bachmann transformers/powerpacks, or whatever they are callled...I am still new at this.  Can I use this, and I guess what my question is, is, what do I do with it now?  I have 2 HO EZ tracks set up...just wondering...Also, what is the difference in a transformer and a power pack ? thanks

Howdy, I have a regular HO train set with the transformer that came with the set.  Would my train run "faster" with a more powerful transformer ?

 :)Hi there.  I am relatively new to train set up and I want to switch to DCC.  I have the Bachmann DCC controller and a few DCC on board Locos, (HO).  To be honest with you, I am afraid to try it, because I do not want to get all confused...is it hard to do this switch.  I am anxious...please make me feel better....thanks in advance..seattlesue   

Have  a gifted G scale WC Bachmann...help, new out of box, but the loco wheels move for like a 1/2 second, and then stop.  The control box is humming and working, and the track is clean, no bumps, and all connections are "tight" as instructed..HELP me, Christmas is getting closer.  Much appreciated my Friends with an answer - seattle sue
