Seriously, O gauge is STARVING for new products esp locomotives and unique scale freight cars. Why Bachmann doesn't jump onthi opportunity is beyond me, esp when Weaver models closed and now rmt- there are two less players in the market place these days.

O gauge is STARVING for a scale gp40-2 and an updated chopped nose  scale GP unit as well. Living off the wbb blaze blaze product line has to be taking its toll on the bottom line. Just throwing in a sound unit will not cut it for today's high msrp. People want to see a new product that has not been done before. Just look at the successful GE 44 tonner. It's been two years since mth copycat announcement of doing a 44 tonner when the Bachmann model is already on the streets enjoying sales.

I have a WBB 44 tonner. I also have a custom sw1 that will fit a WBB Nw2 frame. unfortunately, I need trucks. Will the WBB 44 tonner trucks fit the Nw2 frame? I tried taking it apart and having difficulty fittingthe truck to the Nw2 frame. Is as if the trucks need to be reversed to fit and the coupler mount on the truck needs to be cut off. What am I missing here?

In the 2014 catalog, a "New" GP38 [appears to be the former K-line tooling] appears. Yet in the Bachmann TCA Spring 2014 presentation, there is no mention of it. I take the 44tonner in O gauge has replaced it or is this a quiet release since there are many O gauge GP38's out in the Marketplace?

I just watched the Spring 2014 BAchmann PResentation at the TCA. I am Glad to HEar of the O guage 44T announcement. I am also glad to hear of the return of the K-line "Front Runner cars" which were 5 unit TTAX cars modified. Although the K-line Front Runners are a fantasy, Will Bachmann paint the announced Conrail "Front Runners" in the correct Miniral Red[tuscan Color" for the spins along with the White Trailers?

IT would really sell them better as opposed to the fantasy "Conrail Blue on freight cars"  :'(Which many model Co's for some reason like to do.







If these "front Runner" spines Are correctly painted I can see MANY Conrail modeling Fans purchasing 5 of these cars at a time and obtaining former K-line articulation parts to make a prototypical 5 car spine set.

I believe Most of the EMD GP series Locomotives have been done... many in nausea multiples and released nearly the same time by other manufacturers/importers.

Only a few such as the Gp40-2 phase II, SD45-2, SD60M [3 payne window cabs] and modified Gp7/9's with chopped noses and modern cabs are left for the marketplace to invest and reap a return on investment.

GE's seem to be neglected with many popular models in the Universal series, Dash-7 series and Dash 8 series have never been made.

There are a few ALCo models left that manufacturers have yet to release... C415, C636 that come to mind.

Although the GP30 was a start and the former K-line Rs3 is coming out in November/December time frame, I hope that Williams will come out with the following popular locosin demand for O gauge:

• GE 44tonner SCALE
• GE U33B/U36B
• EMD Gp40-2 Phase II

Don't get me wrong but I hope in the near future that Williams will Scale out their existing toy fleet of locos as well.

Your best bet is to swap out the underframes with current production. this way you get the correct trucks and fuel tank and it looks like a real shark!
