It's soon, going to be 2015 in a few months, and maybe they'll "crosses fingers" will announce an 8-20d 2-6-0 like the Glenbrook, or an 8-18c 4-4-0 like the Eureka. I don't have the means to make my own models of them, or I would have by now.

I love the On30 line, and it's hard to believe that it's falling down, like everyone is saying. If the price was lowered, more people will buy, and the more people that buy it, means more money for the workers and the company. The US market is in a bad mess, there are a lot of people out of jobs and/or don't make enough money to enjoy the hobby like they used to. I also think, bachmann should do poll's of what their consumers want, so they can make a product for everyone. I'm personally hopping for more 19th century models, such as an 8-18c-18d locomotive. I don't care what the price of them would be, but alot of people would want to get them.

Thank your Royce. My thoughts exactly, especially on that nasty looking outside frame engine. If bachmann were to make an engine that was not off the wall, the market may jump a little. The 8-18c would've been the best idea for them to have chose. This is just my opinion. I know many were disappointed with the 4-4-0 that came out, and even more disappointed with the fact the MMI didn't even make the ones they promised. If Bachmann were to make a new engine, I believe it should be someone everyone can foam over. 8-18d 2-6-0 would probably be the best idea since it can easily be converted over to a 8-18c 4-4-0.

Or an 8-18d 2-6-0 like the one in Fn3 scale. That would fit all the categories of everyone. Purdy please with coal and steam on top.

It doesn't hurt to keep voicing our opinion. There may be a good chance they make the engine, "in my ever so humble opinion" because the other 4-4-0s they put out are well; are not quite what others wanted, especially the ugly ugly ugly outside framed engine. As I recall, there was some disappointment with the 1st 4-4-0, so I believe that this 2-6-0 has a fighting chance. There are two 4-4-0s, so why not 2 2-6-0s. Like I said before, it can be easily converted to a proper 4-4-0, and it looks good either way you want it. It's multipurpose; so Bachmann. PLEASE OL' PLEASE WE BEG YOU! PUT A PROPER ENGINE OUT ALREADY! not some off the wall engine like the nasty OF 4-4-0.

A nice 8-18d 2-6-0 would be great! You can convert it an 8-18c 4-4-0. It's a multipurpose engine, and it looks great. I would like to see more 19th century stock. That is just me.

How steep is the grade, and how many/heavy is the cars you're pulling

I'm very disappointing there was no 8-18c 4-4-0 but I'm not complaining lol, but then again. I've gone to computer modeling.

I was watching a German program that showed a product I thought was handy. It is a car that you can hook up to your train and it lay's ballast down. I don't know if you might like it, but I think it would be helpful for those hard to reach places.

When I say decked out the cab I removed the back head parts (throttle, injectors, gauges etc) and moved them to a more appropriate locations that were prototypical. I made some new injectors out of wire, and made brake handles and etc. It looks good. I'll show pictures later

I'm sorry Roy, but I am a bad rivet counter haha. When  I got my ten wheelers the 1st thing I did was deck out the cab to a more prototypical setting, as well as a few other things. Though I will still get one of the little beauties because they're "dare I say" ""cute"".  Though I will make the cab look a lot better. I don't like how open it is in the back, it being a deckless cab engine.
