On30 / Re: Any one for new cars?
June 16, 2012, 01:05:59 AM
The Jackson & Sharp excursion cars would be great! Also a RPO/Express car would be nice.
Some people mentioned wooden hoppers - there are already 2 different wooden hoppers in On30 from different companies; another one would duplicate them needlessly.
More road names for all the existing cars would be good and inexpensive new products; in the 'old days' companies like Athearn would sell cars with all kinds of road names and people could easily populate their layouts with them, even though some weren't exactly correct for the car.
Come to think of it, new road NUMBERS for the existing road names would also be a good idea.

On30 / Re: what does everybody want after the Heisler?
October 14, 2011, 09:16:38 PM
I'd like to see the Jackson & Sharp excursion cars, all the tenders, perhaps an open trolley, and a 2-6-2 in both side-tank (a la Puffing Billy) and tender (a la SR&RL) versions.

On30 / need new end railings
July 28, 2011, 10:21:19 PM
Dear Bach-man,
I would like to see the passenger car end railings offered as a spare part. I've got a lot of broken ones, and they're impossible to repair.
Thanks!

I agree - steam era figures (appropriate for use with On30) would be great!

On30 / Re: On30 Heisler, Need a Prototype?

What a great Heisler! Where is it? There seems to be another loco in the background.
I kind-of like the cowcatcher and wooden cab, but if Bachmann made this, I'd hope for a choice of appendages.

On30 / Re: Your dream loco for Bachmann to produce

1. A 2-6-2 in both tank (a la Puffing Billy) and tender (a la Sandy River) versions;
2. Spare tenders of all types;
3. A Heisler;
4. 2-4-2s like the large scale versions.

Don't forget all the tenders! I'd love to be able to buy complete tenders; they're available in HO but not On30.

On30 / Re: Excursion Car

I'd rather see On30 versions of the Jackson & Sharp-type excursion cars (already available from Bachmann in HO). They're more old-time-y looking than the newly announced ones.

And according to Walthers, a 2-6-6-2 WITH tender (kitbashers, start your dremels)! And the 4-6-0 with sound! woo hoo!

On30 / Re: Up Graded 2-6-0

I would go for an upgrade kit for the original 2-6-0. In fact, I would go for three or four of them. Along with the Heisler, of course. And all the separate tenders which I've been nagging for since the previous century.

Plasticville U.S.A. / Re: New Kits to Enhance Plasticville

Excellent! It looks outstanding. I hope they come up with some more kits like this.

On30 / Re: chomp chomp chomp...

Hooray! I want at least one each of the 4-4-0, bus, and 4-6-0.

And now a plea for the next round: those open excursion cars would look great in On30; also the log skidder and the 2-6-6-2 from your other scales.

I still want all the tenders separately, too; you've now done it in N as well as HO, but not On30 yet.

I get a similar message whenever I press the "mark as read" button.

On30 / Re: Where can I get a Tender?

Why not make all three On30 tenders available individually? After all, you do this in HO.
