HO / 2-8-0 Consolidation Replacement
February 14, 2013, 04:01:52 PM
I recently purchased an older HO-scale Bachmann 2-8-0 Consolidation from a dealer at a Regional train show. It ran perfectly for 3 months or so, but now it's axle gear is slipping and the connecting rods become jammed and misaligned. I have tried to solve the problem by glueing and other means but I can not seem to get it to work properly. Now my question is; since I purchased the locomotive from a private dealer and have no warrentry card towards the locomotive, will Bachmann Still replace the locomotive if sent in? I do not know the age of the locomotive.
         Thanks

starting a new N-gauge layout the common issue of what kind of track to use becomes present. For the most part i'm trusting on Atlas's code 55 flex track. pro's and con's anyone??

General Discussion / Re: N-scale or Ho-scale?

this may help with the comments: i am young so vision and 'Hand shakes' haven't gotten to me, but my layout space is 4x8 plus a few lines running off of the main table. BUT no need for comment anymore, friends, I've started with n-scale, thanks for the input!
