Call me crazy, but I honestly think I'd prefer to see Ryan first. Don't get me wrong, I love Stepney. Ryan just seems a bit more relevant in regards to the brand, and his character is much more developed than Stepney's.

The room where my layout is tends to get damp, so I store all my locos in individual plastic zip-lock bags. I then line them up in plastic storage drawers. I tend to store the rolling stock in the same plastic drawers but without the bags. I'm not sure if this method is "kosher," but it does the job lol!

I received my Oliver two days ago, and may I say is he stunning! Excellent job, Bachmann! Here's a photo of him (it looks as though he has teeth lol):

Thanks! Thomas' face mod, which utilizes Trackmaster's R/C flip-face Thomas face, was pretty simple. Using a Dremel, I cut the happy face from the alternate surprised face, and then I drilled out the eyes with the Dremel's drill bit attachment. From there I inserted Bachmann Thomas' eyes into the sockets and adhered them using a bit of tack, which allows me to pose the eyes however I desire. In order to fit on the front of Thomas' smoke box, I removed the eye mechanism and stuck the face on with more tack. Super quick, super simple - that is as long as you have the proper tools!

I'm not sure if this is considered to be a form of narrow gauge, but I'm going to share here anyway. Since Christmas I've been working here and there on the three primary Arlesdale engines. They utilize Tomy Wind-up shells with Marklin Z scale chassis. Unlike Mike and Rex, Bert is tender driven. They are still a WIP, as they need new buffer heads, buffer beam details, etc. If you'd like you can follow their progress on Twitter and Instagram using #oozdale. I hope you enjoy!  

I concur with the Daisy/Ryan idea. Ryan easily has become my favorite character aesthetically, and I think Bachmann would do a beautiful job with him. Daisy would be a lovely addition as well

Well, maybe this means the lost episode "Gordon Goes Foreign" may not be lost after all...?

I would think that since BoCo's eyes sit in the middle of his body, his leading bogey could be attached to a swivel point under the eye mechanism. I'd think the chassis would be very similar to the American line's FT diesel locos:



The bogeys would be fitted on the under side of the chassis (obviously), and the eye mechanism would sit atop it. A gear mechanism would have to be sorted out though, as the FTs utilize driveshafts rather than gears.
