N / Wiring Sections of N Track
January 07, 2015, 09:51:52 PM
Hello,

Just getting started in the hobby and have a question that has not been answered yet. I have heard that some of the "Pros" recommend wiring each section of the track. Is this correct or can i just use the one connection on the corner that comes with my track? If i need to wire more track is there a simply way to wire it or does anyone have any tips on soldering wire to nscale? gauge of wire etc...

Also off topic the corner connection piece that you hook your controller up to does that connection snap or something? mine is barely hanging on and the slightest move the wire falls out.

Thanks
Jack

N / New To N Scale Hobby Need help with power.
December 15, 2014, 11:37:02 PM
Hello All,

I am new to the hobby and like the Bachmann n scale ez-track, I have a 3' x 6' table for my train. I want to 2 trains the outer train to be on an oval by itself and in inside train being on a double oval layout. My question is should I just use the 2 power packs it came with and keep them separate and will that be enough power for my layout? Or do I need to somehow have more feeder wires like I have researched on the net?

I guess I need to know if I just plug the box into one of the "11.25" Radius Terminal Rerailer with Wire"  is that going to be sufficient power?
