On30 / On30 Rail Bus detailing
March 13, 2011, 08:34:08 PM
Can anyone tell me how to get the body off the On30 railbus. Mine needs a driver and a few passengers and I don't want to bust anything trying to do the job.
Thanks

On30 / 2-8-0 disassembly
February 23, 2009, 06:35:03 AM
Can someone give me a few hints on how to get the boiler off my On30 2-8-0.
Ive removed the screw above the front truck and two from inside the compartment with the plugs under the cab. Now the cab wants to come off with the boiler, leaving  the floor behind, which means some of the pipes need to be disconnected which does not look like fun!

HO / fitting tender light
May 05, 2008, 10:07:03 PM
I have a Bachmann DCC 4-8-4 GS4 Steamer and the light has come out of the small connector at the end of the orange and brown wires in the tender.
It appears to be a LED so which way around should it be refitted. Long leg to the red or to the brown?
Thanks I need an answer PDQ if possible

HO / Bachmann service
February 18, 2008, 01:24:45 AM
This may sound like I'm just having a whinge but I feel as though I must be living on another planet rather than just over the water in Australia.

I sent my first email requesting a new motor for a locomotive I want to repair for a customer back in either late October or early November '07.
I then posted a request for help on this board on November 23 after sending four emails with no answer.
One of the members suggested I email Bridget.
After a couple of tries I recieved an answer on November 28 saying the motor was available.
I then emailed her about payment but got no answer.
On Dec 12 I asked for help again on the message board and The Bach man
kindly offered to pass on my request to the right people.
I got an answer on Dec 14 about payment.
I sent my credit card numbers on Dec 14 and recieved a reply on Jan 2 (08) with the message thanking me and parts would be sent ASAP.
It is now the middle of February and I have heard nothing, I might add that I sent an email reqesting an update on Jan 2, no reply of course.
Anyone got any suggestions?
I think I have been quite patient.

General Discussion / Bachmann spares
December 12, 2007, 05:30:14 AM
Can anyone tell me how I can get Bachmann to send me a new motor for a 2-8-0 consolidation (motor #11405).
I have been trying for 4 weeks.
I am in Australia and have emailed several times, after a couple of tries I got a reply telling me the price. I then sent several more emails asking the same question about the best way to pay for it, with no reply.
Why can't I even get a yes or no or we'll get back to you later?
I have a customer who is getting very impatient.
