I will also suggest that you goto www.Largescalecentral.com and do some learning,  reading, asking and tap into the knowledge  base of those that will freely share.

Get a hold of "Trains West" in Albuquerque NM.  I was in there yesterday, and the have a gently used one on consignment, I believe it also has a PH11 sound card in it.

If your looking into a DCC system, take a good look at the Digitraxx System. They have a great wireless control that's duplex (that talks back and forth) to the system.  Plus they have a nice little what I call a buddy throttle, to hand to your buddy's so they can play also.  It's the system I use.

Now if they would jest come up with a large scale sound card for under a $100 bucks.

Large / Min Radius for a Thomas LS train.
October 03, 2010, 11:34:11 PM
I'm thinking of adding a "Thomas" Loop to my garden RR, so the neighborhood kids can run it.

I've tried to find the Min Radius that a "Thomas' set would run on, and the best that I could come up with is a guess of 2ft. Radius, based on that the set comes with a 4 x 5 foot set of track.

Is my Guess Correct, for all the "Thomas" cars and add ons?  And the other engines?

Thanks

GREAT NEWS...  The ez-air line of switch motors and assoc. parts and etc.  are still available..  Robbie at RLD hobbies (1-877-753-4629) assured me that he can still get them, but the delivery may be slower then normal.

Mr. Manley with COCRR has in fact had some health issues, but he is shipping product.

I'm finally expanding my RR and needed more E-Z Air turnout motors, only to find out at their web site "WE ARE CLOSED".   Does any one know whats up?  And is there any hope of again having access to there products, and does any one know of any substitute or replacement?

Thanks
