Hello,

I purchased a few Bachmann engines second hand online and found they are missing a few screws.  Is there a place or database to help identify what size and thread count screw listed on exploded diagrams are? I'm trying to find replacements without needed to but larger assembly off the part store and just by correct matching screws to match the factory ones.

More specifically here are the engines and screw numbers based on diagrams i'm looking for sizes/threads.

GE 70 Tonner:
Screw # 10549 & 10170

0-6-0 Saddle Tank:
Screw # 10310 & 10632

Any help would be greatly apperciated.

Thomas & Friends / Color matching the Thomas Line.

I'm looking to do some body work on some of my Thomas models, currently transforming a scrap Thomas into the Day out with Thomas dummy in HO scale. I wanted to see if anyone knows of a brand or mixture of paints that will be a close match to the stock Blue, Reds, Greens, etc. that Bachmann uses in the Thomas line. Anything information would be very helpful.

I went to the Springfield, "Big E" train show this year and it normally is the one time I get to see the major train companies like Bachmann and Lionel in person.  Bachmann had models of Oliver and the slate cars there but no Rheneas or Rosie. ( was kinda disappointed they were not there). But I will agree it seems that there isn't a major focus on Thomas in my local area show, besides me. This always annoys me because I see lots of other kids younger than me that are wearing or carrying Thomas brand items. You would think there might be more of a connection.

Welcome Aboard E2 Billington!!!

Good news on the HO scale Rosie and G scale Thomas with sound. Both were in the newest Bachmann catalog so we will get them in the future. G scale will ether have the sound built in or by a separate module you can add to your current loco.

Personally id love to see Flying Scotsmen as well, But ill be honest id love to see anyone new in this range. The fact that Bachmann is continuing to make these great models is the best thing.

@Jacob Wilson Thank you for the welcome!!! I had posted that my observation about the DCC module to pose the question about why the other engines whistles would be included.  I hope it does mean that someday we get the others in g scale.  I know id be first in line for a G scale Gordon and Henry!!

Did anyone notice the note on the G Scale DCC module??  It says there are going to be the other engines whistles on it.  Why would they include the other engines whistles on the generic DCC box. If they arnt built?  Just a thought for the future maybe?
