Is the Tomas pack mdcc compatable, and could be used with e-z command to run dc locomotives?

How does thr power pack in the Thomas sete compare to the one in  ho sets? Also could a decoder be installed in thr Thomas locomotives?

I am considering amrc prodigy explorer and using a selector to switch to my trvh y when Iwant to run the analog locos.

I guess a better question is which reasonably pitced systen allows adjusting cv. Regarding my dc locomotives use a seperate track  for them.

I have more decoderless than equipped(two) my EZ command is unable to adjust cv.Dynamis allows that but will not run oldyr locpmotives. Sugestions please

In an older review uf this locomotve it said that in dcc there was hesitation until speed step 10m has this been improved?

I think that dcc would be prefable,but I will go slow in adding decoders. Ima go to another system

If you nhave Tony Koester's Realisti9c  Desigh on page 55 is siimilar to what Iam planing. Basically aoval,two passing tracks,reverse loop and several induserys. Iown an EE-Z Command and two dcc on boasrd locos. Iam thing a setup like our local NMRA uses when sone wants  to use  dci.e. switch one track to dc. Thank both of you for the replies.
