Thomas & Friends / Re: Narrow Gauge Modeling Thread

Chaz I wasn't planning on selling/trading them for newer model. I just wanted to make sure they weren't out of place.

Mulfred thanks for the comparisons. Differences between the two especially Peco and Bachmann. In which the Bachmann has the buffer beams and electric, air hose connection. Although yes the other van doesn't have them but it be classed as a different type of van or add them later.

Good review on the rolling stock. I gotten the brake vans but not the new vans. I thought of no point of getting the new ones except the bracing. Somewhere down the line I might so the railroad can have single and double sheathed box vans.

Does these new vans goes nicely with the Peco vans together? Since I didn't see a photo.

I was confirmed about NG brake vans being mail out today. Totally surprised since I checked Bachmann's Facebook and Twitter with no news. Luckily I had money for them.

I believe Bachmann is going to release in the N Scale range. Everything that originally got released in HO. The same engines, rolling stock and vehicles.

I like the idea of the breakdown crane and the unit coach.

I'm one of those fans that prefer a faceless character like the breakdown cranes.

I grew up with them not having one and suddenly out of no where they have names and faces in the movie.

Add on pieces to apply if you want them is a good choice.

Any word or idea when the Narrow Gauge brake van and vans coming out?

I'm just waiting for the last of the narrow gauge locomotives. Simple plain brown repaints for vans.

I really don't know what else, can't think right now.

I'm sorry, but I never heard of this guy. After reading this yesterday I went to YouTube and check his channel. I didn't watch any of his 14 vids yet.

I would like to have that updated version. With the fill in smokebox and black wheels. I'm not really sure if I want to replace mine. I do, but I'll have 3 James's.

I would say so. If we're talking about Rev. Awray stories from season 1-4. Sparkle in Christopher ones.

why , O' why do all engines close their eyes and sqirm when blowing their whistles - it makes you think they are constipated

It might be concentration.

Thomas & Friends / Re: BoCo or Diesel 10

I would like to get BoCo to finish off the diesel roster after Daisy. He with the Twins and Edward to recreate stories. The twins having Fun mischief poking around the only diesel alongside their branch line. Just in time for Edward or BoCo putting a stop in their place.

I'm a not fan of Diesel 10, but if they decide to make him with a moveable claw or stationary one. I'll probably decide 50/50 chance of getting him.

I doubt my answer will change on getting Diesel 10.

Those toys would be made by Mattel not Bachmann. The cartoonist style will fit with preschoolers thru 1st grade.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was going to be a future toy line.  In the beginning or after the series end.

I think a late fall sample of Peter Sam could be possible. Because I still believe Peter Sam will release next year around Winter.

19. Troublesome Brake Van

Didn't Bachmann already made this as the Spiteful Brake Van? Or is there's a different one that I'm totally missing.
