thanks i found the coal load pops out  then can get to screw that frees shell and dcc board, but that on good loco tender. now bad loco and tender i want to keep coal pops off  but dccw sound is in tight and i gues sound part is covering screw .  this is tender i want to keep .  might have to find someone to pay to do it.

yes. i have 2 one dcc and 1 dcc with sound  one with sound has bad engine so need to get apart to change

i have tender with high coal load in front. can't find any screws on underneath. how does shell come off

thank i have good magnifier and small tools i tried to repair rods on an older steam i have  wasnt pretty hand just not steady enough. to delacate

THANKS soldering i can do between eyesight and not small fingers working on wheels and rods very diffiacult. being i dont have much money in what i got. and the fact i didnt purchase new.  and bachman repair according to chart starts at 60.00 i think picking up new and moving stuff easier and cheaper

i asked in general was told should ask in n scale.. i got an 4-6-0 dcc and sound  which wheel rods are beyond repair.  question is in i buy new 4-6-0 dcc equipped  can i switch my tender so i have sound and dcc. in new engine.

thanks im not original owner. and their fee to start is 60.00   for 75.  i can get new dcc equipped  not sound being decoder in tender i was hoping with minor soldering or just plug can swap tender  and shell on loco so i dont have to repaint

i have a nscale  dcc and sound 4-6-0 baldwin.  my grand kid dropped it and messed up the bars on wheels.   not looking to fix.  asking if i buy new baldwin that dcc equipped .is everything  for dcc in tender.  and if so can i just switch tenders to make new one dcc w/ sound  thank in advance if more info needed post i try and reply

i have a backman dc control that came with alaska set .  im looking to use a dccw/ sound loco .  is this control the pulse one ?  what would i need to do this without having to get all new stuff

the way i o it is after ballasting is dry i use small toothbrush shaped wire brush to clean and loosen ballast on ties vaucum off test  when trains are running smooth ill repaint and wether ties

this is to bachmann guy only  when if ever are you going to have traction tires in stock for both  small wheel and big wheel been coming to this sit for 2 years now allways out of stock. you make a good product for the money but its not funn having youe engines on the sidelines because of traction tire problem.

right now i havee 3 main lines all analog controllers.  2 locos have.dcc.i not lookin to run more than 1 train on each linee  heres my question   i want sound . what do i need to get.  locos? controllers?  anything else.
