N / How to wire EZ track layout?
February 12, 2021, 04:46:18 PM
Hi there, I'm new to EZ track and I am wondering how to wire the 4' x 12' layout I have below.

Should I get a 5 amp booster? How does that work and get wired? Any other suggestions?

I've built my benchwork, added my foam and will be painting it tomorrow. Track work is next so looking for some help.

Thanks, Michael

Great question Gnu! I don't have an answer but I would have the same question as I am planning a layout with 7 turnouts and 4 crossovers so 15 switches.

N / N EZ Track Wiring Question
February 02, 2021, 02:20:19 PM
Hi all, I'm new to N scale and to EZ Track, I like the ease of the set up and such but can't figure out the power supply.

I have laid out a plan with 3 main line loops with a yard inside the inner loop, there are crossovers to get to each loop.

I have ordered all my parts. I have a EZ Command DCC controller on order as well.

My questions are how to power all my track. I saw the 5 Amp Booster and I am wondering if that is all I need and to run leads from each loop or do I just need to power the outside loop and everything else will be powered? Is there anything I am missing or any suggestions from anyone?

Thanks in advance! Michael
